Fundraising Event – Time to Celebrate: Philip Aziz Centre/Emily’s House 30/10 Gala:
It is time to celebrate 30 years of in-home hospice, and 10 years of in-patient paediatric hospice care.
Our gala will raise essential funds for eight new hospital beds needed for our paediatric patients, as well as operating funds for Days of Care at Emily’s House and community hospice programming.
Our gala event (at The Globe & Mail Terrace, Toronto: Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at 6:30 pm) will feature live entertainment (Ron Korb and Jackie Richardson), virtual celebrity presentations (Jim Cuddy of Blue Rodeo, and Barenaked Ladies), emcee CBC Journalist Tom Harrington, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres/food, a fundraising auction, and a celebration of the history that is making us a centre of excellence in paediatric hospice care, and a leader in innovative hospice program delivery.
Proceeds from this ticketed fundraising gala will benefit Emily’s House, Toronto’s first children’s hospice, and the Philip Aziz Centre for Hospice Care for all ages in the GTA community. Dress is “smart cocktail.”
The 30/10 gala, an occasion for hospice friends, old and new, will be a … Time to Celebrate!
