A beautiful note to Emily’s House children’s hospice from SickKids PACT

“I hope you’re having a good week – I know it’s a very busy time at the house!

PACT does weekly shout-outs at our clinical rounds, and it’s no surprise that Emily’s House comes up often. This week’s was extra special, though. The incredible care your whole team has been providing to our recent and ongoing end-of-life patients, two of whom died in very close succession, was highlighted by so many people. The comments shared by parents were simply the best. Our whole meeting room was smiling with gratitude for what Emily’s House created for these families.

I can only imagine what must go into providing such outstanding service while simultaneously running your day camp. I do know these things are never clean, easy, or without moments of very tricky juggling and a dash of chaos! We are deeply grateful for everything you’re doing to give our patients such top-notch care!”
