A Youth’s Dream Came True to Operate a Coffee Bar … in our children’s hospice!

One youth admitted for hospice care at Emily’s House children’s hospice brought a life-long dream with her.

She had always wanted to host her own coffee bar!

She recruited the Emily’s House team to bring the vision to life. Together, they created an invitation/ poster with her own branding, baked sweets and treats for days, and hosted a Friday afternoon of fun at Emily’s House. The menu included whipped iced coffee, peach coffee cake, home-made ice cream, and more.

Most importantly, her radiant joy outshined the bright pink signage and fancy trays of dessert.
