Anglican Synod 2023

So wonderful to gather with leaders, representatives, new and old friends from across the ANGLICAN DIOCESE OF TORONTO at 2023 Synod this past weekend.

We shared program updates and our thanks for FaithWorks grant funding and prayer support for our Phillip Aziz Centre for Hospice Care (PAC) Program for People with HIV/AIDS.  This hospice client group is facing complications and new challenges of ageing with HIV/AIDS, comorbidities, cumulative side effects of being on aggressive antiviral medications for decades, pain management, isolation, and more. PAC helps facilitate resilience in their unique life journey – through counselling, patient advocacy, mediation, peer/group supports, spiritual care, home visits, volunteers, and connections to care during times of crisis.

Thank you to the Anglican Diocese of Toronto for doing fantastic work in the community, supporting social justice, housing, migrant workers, refugee sponsorship, and other causes in addition to our community hospice clients.
