Emily’s House Summer Camp – Time Travel Photo Album
The first day of Time Travel Summer Camp at Emily’s House was a blast into the past today. Over the course of the week, there’s a good chance they’ll have had so much fun, that they will adjust the dial on the Time Travel Machine and “time travel” back to today to do it all again!
The Time Travel-themed day camp will take our youth on adventure visits to five eras over the course of the week: Prehistoric Era, Pioneers, Roaring 20s, 80s, and the Future (the year 2036). Today, they exploded volcanoes, made salt dough fossils, held a Tricera-Ross competition, and enjoyed Dino dance lessons. They programmed adaptive talking buttons to make “roar” sounds – which was a big hit!!!
We send a big “roar” sound of thanks to the volunteers, clinical staff and rec team for setting the time travel dial to super creative and inclusive fun!
