Emily’s House Annual Garden Memorial 2025 – Photo Album

Families, volunteers, and staff gathered on Sunday, June 1st for the Emily’s House Annual Garden Memorial 2025. Despite experiencing unusually cold temperatures, the warm sun shone down on our guests throughout the day as we took part in our rituals to remember and honour each child who has passed through our doors. Our program included poetry, a musical reflection, stories from families, and of course, our naming ceremony which offers families an opportunity to place a name-engraved stone in our garden. Following our program, families gathered to breathe and move their grief together in our bubble ceremony and continued to share stories (and snacks!) together. This year was a special opportunity to hear from families who have been involved with Emily’s House for years and who continue their children’s legacies by graciously supporting other parents and families. It was a special time to remember, honour, and grieve together in community.
Thank you to the thirty-three volunteers and twenty staff who helped welcome approximately 110 family members and loved ones on this special day.
