Emily’s House Halloween Party – More Giggles Than Ghouls
The Emily’s House Halloween Party was a blast for children, child siblings, families, volunteers, and the hospice frontline care team!
Costumes were as creative as ever. Children and guests could guess how much a pumpkin weighed, make handprint spooky finger-paint art, squeeze the nose of a child life specialist, feel the slimy goo in a sensory pumpkin, blow bubbles and twirl around in a fairy costume, giggle with friends, and enjoy ALL the tricks and treats. We give a five-pumpkin rating to the creative team who can design inclusive recreation every day at Emily’s House children’s hospice, and still make special occasions special. Thanks to all who participated, especially our enthusiastic volunteers!
