Emily’s House March Break Camp Photo Album, March 13-17, 2023
Emily’s House March Break Camp 2023 was the first, fully in-person children’s recreational camp held at Emily’s House since the pandemic. The team planned for eight kids to participate (based on the level of nursing support confirmed in advance).
The theme was Adventure and Around the World Exploration. Emily’s House “campers” explored the deepest, darkest jungles; participated in an around-the-world treasure hunt; and visited some geographical location where they could create and erupt a papier mâché volcano.
They also received a visit from some travelling reptiles, met local firefighters, and enjoyed treats baked by a volunteer. The children got to be adventurers themselves!
As part of the week’s festivities, our Music Therapist lead an ongoing activity with the kids, where they got to make their own instruments, and on the last day, they got to perform a little concert together. Based on these photos, they clearly rocked the house!
