Experiencing the Maid of the Mist in Koolway Adaptive Wear
Last week, “Adventures Across Canada” was the theme for Emily’s House Day Camp.
One famous destination was Niagara Falls, where Emily’s House children experienced the Maid of the Mist, the sightseeing boat tour of Niagara Falls where everyone traditionally gets soaked by the spray of water from the powerful waterfall. The accessible fun of it was that it happened right here, in our wheelchair accessible garden green space!
Special thanks to Koolway Adaptive Wear for donating products to Emily’s House children’s hospice silent auction for the Fly Me to the Moon fundraising event earlier this year.
Koolway Sports designs outerwear for people in motion – enabling them to achieve their maximum level of independence in all aspects of life. All Koolway Sports products are designed for clients who are medically fragile and using mobility and custom designed for them in their wheelchair.
They have many customizable and practical products, like those donated to our children and youth:
- A KoolKape with front blanket with sweatshirt liner (value $485 CAD).
- KoolKozy Legs provide a warm, wind- and water-resistant solution for keeping your lower body and back cozy in cold weather. (value $500 CAD).
SPECIAL PROMO: Anyone ordering Koolway adaptive wear, from Emily’s House, will receive a small token of appreciation, like a toque.
