Hockey for Grace 2019 – Cheque Presentation and Framed Jersey
The Manning family visited Emily’s House to present a cheque for $26,029 from their super-fun annual HOCKEY FOR GRACE event held earlier this year. Congratulations and thanks to Chris, Amy, family, friends, supporter, hockey players, sponsors, donors, volunteers and probably the entire community of Newmarket that make this possible – in loving memory of baby Grace.
After three years of HOCKEY FOR GRACE events, the event jersey has joined the “celebrity walls” of the Emily’s House Recreational Dream Space: In Memory of Odd Sock Ollie. (It is in good company, facing the Stephen Amell / Superstar Stardust (Cody Rhodes) Emily’s House fundraising t-shirt from WWE SummerSlam 2015).
Funds have been designated to the GRACE ADVENTURE FUND – providing memory making and legacy activities for Emily’s House families. The Grace Adventure Fund mural includes photos of activities to give Emily’s House families ideas of the kinds of things they might want to do in celebration of their child.
