Your ongoing commitment to excellence in practice and compassion in the delivery of care is at the heart of all we do at Emily’s House. Your presence by the bedside, listening ear, gentle hugs and smiles, engagement in play and activities all: “Add life to a child’s days, when we can’t add days to their life.” You are changing lives, with your healing touch, and key to shaping our tomorrow in healthcare with the wisdom you bring to palliative care. Thank you for being part of Emily’s House, sharing your gifts, and giving yourselves everyday to the families and children. These families look to us for respite and end-of-life care at very difficult and challenging times of their lives. Thank you for being a trusted and loyal team player! It takes a village to do what we do, and you are an integral part of our village of care. With heart-felt thanks and sincere appreciation for each one of you this week and every week of the year.
