PAC Launches Capital Campaign
Capital Campaign Launch
The Philip Aziz Centre (PAC) has expanded its current community based hospice services to meet the needs of families and children living with the challenges of a life-limiting illness by establishing a Children’s Residential Hospice.
On Oct. 19, staff, volunteers and supporters congregated at Rouge Concept Gallery to celebrate the launch of the Children’s Home capital campaign. The Honourable Deb Matthews was also in attendance to announce the Ministry of Health’s support of this Children’s Home.
The Children’s Home – the first of its kind in Toronto and one of six in Canada – builds on PAC’s 15 years of excellent care and support for people living with life threatening-limiting illnesses in the comforts of their own homes. PAC has found an ideal site for the Children’s Home at the historical Governor’s House, located on the grounds of the new Bridgepoint Health Centre at 562 Gerrard St.
