A Paediatric Palliative Care Community Workshop with VHA

Earlier this week, Emily’s House hosted a successful paediatric palliative care community workshop day with partners from the VHA team. Attendees included community nurses and care coordinators from VHA and Ontario Health at Home.

We are working together and sharing learning to ensure consistent, high-quality paediatric palliative care in the community.

The Interim Nursing Supervisor, for the VHA team wrote: “Thank you so much for yesterday’s Palliative Care Workshop. It was a wonderful and informative session that has already been a great help to us in our work as community nurses. We truly appreciated the time and effort you put into organizing it … a lovely memory of a very valuable day.”
