RTCC Community Volunteer Award
Congratulations to our CEO, RAUNI SALMINEN, who was recognized earlier this summer by the Ralph Thornton Community Centre, and awarded the RTCC Community Volunteer Award for “Contribution to Community Betterment” for 2023.
The award nominator, Ejay Tupe, wrote: “Rauni is the CEO of Philp Aziz Centre, a hospice care organization for those diagnosed with terminal illness. She was the primary animator for Emily’s House, the first respite care facility for dying children in Toronto. She has faithfully served in a frontline capacity while still serving as CEO.”
