This March, we invite you to celebrate this incredible profession, and learn how social workers are meeting Ontarians where they’re at, when it matters most. We celebrate and honour our three social workers at PAC & EH: Lena Soje, Sharon Bailey-Wright and Emily Briggson. Social Workers are the heart of compassionate care, offering unwavering support to clients with life-limiting conditions and their families during their most challenging times. Their dedication goes beyond professional duty – they provide emotional strength, advocacy, and comfort, ensuring that every client receives dignity, love, and quality care. These selfless individuals navigate complex situations with grace, helping families find hope amidst hardship and guiding them through grief with kindness and understanding. This Social Worker Week, we honour their tireless commitment, their boundless empathy, and the invaluable role they play in bringing light to even the darkest moments.
