World Cancer Day – February 4, 2026
“There were highs and lows along the cancer journey – kayaking, canoeing, brain radiation, chemo, big birthday parties and celebrations with friends – until the chemo and radiation did not work.”
World Cancer Day is an international day marked on 4 February to raise awareness of cancer and to encourage its prevention, detection, and treatment. It is also an occasion to remember and celebrate those whose lives have been touched by cancer, like Allan.
