Youths for Hospice Visit Emily’s House Children’s Hospice

Thank you to the Youths for Hospice team for visiting Emily’s House children’s hospice.  It is especially exciting when people this young engage and advocate for hospice care.

In addition to a donation from their ongoing fundraising and volunteer service efforts, they donated a picture book – authored by two of them – for our Emily’s House client family library: “Someone I Love is Dying in Hospice, What Should I Expect?” by Lucas and Gregory Perri, published by Friesen Press.

We are grateful for this glimpse at the next generation of palliative care.
