Bill Mugford Tribute Video to Toronto Artist Philip Aziz
The story of Philip Aziz Centre (PAC) began in a small inner city church community whose pastor (Bill Mugford) reached out to support a many dying of AIDS. This act of kindness and compassion amidst the AIDS pandemic led to Philip bequeathing his estate with the expectation that they would establish a service that would provide the same type of care he received for others living with HIV/AIDS in our city. 30 years later, PAC has grown in services, practice, staff and volunteers to become a reputable, diverse and trusted provider of hospice palliative care and an integral part of our health care system.
